Practical tips

  1. Zoom or use a large source so you do not sample anti-aliased edge greys.
  2. Sample mid-solid areas of logos, not borders.
  3. Convert unusual formats first (AVIF to JPG, WebP to PNG) if the browser cannot decode the file.
  4. Note hex for CSS (#1A73E8) or design tools.

Convert to JPG first with HEIC to JPG, then pick.

It samples colours; it is not a full photo editor. Crop/compress elsewhere as needed.

Is my image uploaded?
