Before you prepare a photo file
SSC does not accept an uploaded photograph. Its module captures your photo while you fill the form, and the Commission's notice states a form where “the photograph of his/her pre-existing photograph is captured will be rejected summarily”. What you do upload is the signature: JPEG, 10–20 KB, about 6.0 × 2.0 cm, signed large enough to fill roughly 80% of the box. Older-style state forms may still ask for a photo file — use the numbers printed on your own notice.
